P1 Bridging Course

Transitioning from kindergarten to primary school is not an easy process for either parents or children. To facilitate this change, we offered a three-day bridging course before the official start of the school year, helping families become familiar with the new school environment.

This program allowed students to explore the school campus, experience class time and discover the joy of learning in primary school. Additionally, we organized a parents’ assembly where they could gain a deeper understanding of our school and receive valuable suggestions for supporting primary students during this important transition.

I’ve grown up experiential classes

To allow for a gradual and smooth transition, our school does not organize exams for primary one students during the first trimester. Instead, we offer a four-day enjoyable learning programme, themed "I Have Grown Up."

This program aims to develop a positive learning attitude and habits among students. It includes consolidative and extended learning activities, reading and e-learning. Additionally, there are summative assessments in Chinese, English, Mathematics and Social Studies, which enable teachers and parents to track students' learning progress and provide appropriate support. Furthermore, students will become familiar with the assessment modes and that is important for their future studies.

English Phonics Programme

The design of the RWI phonics program is both engaging and systematic. It effectively teaches phonics from words to sentences, incorporating reading and writing practice, which enhances the effectiveness of English learning.

The program is structured to support children's literacy development, ensuring they feel confident and successful. It allows students to master English words with ease at a young age. Let’s see how our students blend the words of Set 1 sounds!

Musical Seeds Project

The Musical Seed Project is designed for Primary 1 and 2 students, allowing them to explore a variety of instruments. Through themes that connect musicians and stories, students engage in entertaining musical activities. The project aims to help these young learners discover their interest and potential in playing musical instruments during their early learning stage, thereby laying a preparatory foundation for deeper music learning in the future.
