School History

Founded in 1971, CNEC Ta Tung School is a primary school operated by the Christian Nationals’ Evangelism Commission (CNEC). Located in Kwai Hing Estate, the school has witnessed the development of both Kwai Hing Estate and Kwai Chun Court. The new wing of our campus was completed and opened in 2005. The school is equipped with a full range of facilities. Our teachers are devoted and caring, and we foster a positive school ethos.

The school implements holistic education by practising Christian education, moral education, counselling, school-based curricula and learning supports. We actively address students’ individual differences and are committed to nurturing their development in all areas, including physical, social, intellectual, emotional and spiritual growth. Our aim is to cultivate a proactive learning attitude and instill positive values towards life in our students.

Hence, we uphold the spirit of Christ and care for the holistic development of our students. We focus not only on developing students’ learning abilities but also on nurturing the growth of their character. We dedicate ourselves to helping students lay a foundation for a flourishing life.

  • Diligence is the foundation of self-cultivation. It is also a traditional Chinese virtue.

  • Diligence is the road to success, capable of compensating for deficiencies and bringing the joy of achievement.

  • Sincerity is a key component in building healthy relationships. We should be honest with ourselves and genuine with others.

  • Sincerity encompasses genuineness, integrity and honesty. Upholding sincerity fosters self-awareness and persistence in our studies. It also cultivates trust and encourages good communication with others.

  • Love for God is crucial, as God is love. With His love, we gain the strength to love ourselves and others. Christ embodies love and mercy, and we should strive to learn from Him. While we can strict with ourselves, we should extend leniency towards others.

  • With our love for God, we serve and help others to glorify Him. This love also gives us the courage to face all challenges.
