Joining the Team

All members must go through a selection process that evaluates not only their dancing skills but also their passion and persistence. During this process, participants are required to showcase their dance talent while following the teacher's instructions and suggestions. This approach helps them enhance their skills and boost their confidence simultaneously.

School Open Day  x   Kindergarten Students

From the early stages, the team actively participated in school events. On Open Day, we successfully attracted many kindergarten students to join us, dancing “Baby Shark” together. The kids were captivated by the Street Dance performance, which served not only as a promotion activity, but also as a mean to introduce street dance to the community. Gradually, Street Dance has become an integral part of our school culture and has fostered a positive reputation within our community.

Challenges and Perseverance during the Pandemic

During the pandemic, everyone was required to practice at home. However, our team members maintained their passion and continued to practise and communicate with one another online. This challenging period strengthened their perseverance, and they learned to cherish every opportunity to practise and perform.

Current Arrangement of the Street Dance Team

Currently, we have divided the team into two groups: one for experienced dancers and another for beginners. This approach supports the development of dancers at different skill levels. Beginners focus on mastering basic skills, while experienced dancers train for advanced techniques and performances. This arrangement enhances the efficiency and effectiveness of practice, fostering better collaboration among team members.

Achievements and Heritage

The Street Dance Team has garnered numerous awards, both individual and group. While these achievements are encouraging, we believe that inheriting the spirit of street dance is even more important. Our team members view street dance not only as a skill but also as a culture and a life attitude. We are dedicated to working hard to help more people learn about and appreciate street dance.
