Ta Tung School─Who Are We?

CNEC Ta Tung School has been rooted in Kwai Hing Estate for 51 years. It is a primary school under the Christian Nationals’ Evangelism Commission. Our mission is to nurture the holistic development of our students, including physical, emotional, social, intellectual and spiritual growth while fostering their initiative for learning and positive attitudes towards life. Our distinctive strategic development plan can be summarized by the phrases “Go Green”, “Go Positive” and “Go for the Future”.

The “Ark” symbolizes Love and Hope. Because of God’s love, the lives of Noah’s family and the animals on the ark were preserved. After the flood submerged the earth for one hundred and fifty days, the waters began to recede slowly. When Noah left the ark, the first thing he did was to build an altar for God and offer a lamb in gratitude. God was pleased with Noah. He blessed him and established a covenant with a rainbow, promising that never again would all flesh be destroyed by a flood, nor would there be another flood to destroy the earth. Now rainbows have appeared in our campus. We hope that every parent and student, like Noah’s family, can participate in and witness the building of the ark with faith, and experience God’s love and the peace He provides. Even in times of adversity, we can still hold onto Hope. The beautiful rainbow reminds us of a God who loves us forever!
